AGUST LIFE is the brainchild of Gert Nijboer and Bryan Ketelaars. With Gert’s songwriting prowess and Bryan’s expertise in crafting vocal melodies and lyrics, the duo embarked on a creative journey that culminated in the release of their debut album ”NEW ETERNITY”. The album was received very positively and was even compared to being a sister album of the impressive ‘Operation: Mindcrime’  by Queensrÿche.

 Drawing inspiration from classic metal acts like Dio, Rainbow and Savatage, as well as more modern icons such as Dream Theater, Threshold, Shadow Gallery, Evergrey, Vanden Plas, Pagan’s Mind, and even Pantera, August Life has forged a sound that seamlessly blends the best of various eras.
